NSA sends out notifications on latest course(s), updated course(s) with new course run(s) and approaching activities. You will only receive the notifications based on the following conditions:
- Signed up for an NSA account;
- You have bookmarked the course(s)/activities; AND
- You have updated the notification settings to “ON” in the Notification Settings page.
Do note that the default notification settings is set to “OFF” for all types of notification.
There are four types of notifications,
- Browser notifications: After you have signed up and logged in to your account via the website on desktop/laptop for the first time (or after clearing browser cache/cookies), you will be asked if you want to stay up to date on the latest courses and updates via browser notification.
By allowing browser push notifications, you will receive notifications via your desktop/laptop notifications pane.
To turn off browser push notifications, follow the instructions provided by the browser,

- Email notifications: For email notifications, you can turn on/off notifications by toggling the switches at Profile > My Notification Settings.
If you have subscribed to the e-newsletter and wish to unsubscribe, you can click on "Unsubscribe from this list" at the bottom of the e-newsletter, or contact us at helpdesk@c3a.org.sg with your email address subscribed to the e-newsletter.
- SMS notifications: If you have provided your mobile number during the account sign up, you can turn on/off the SMS notifications by toggling the switches at Profile > My Notification Settings.
- Push notifications (mobile app): If you have downloaded the mobile app and have logged into your account, you can turn on/off the push notifications by toggling the switches at Profile > My Notification Settings.
