This group education programme is conducted by a multi-disciplinary team from Diabetes Centre. Topics include diet, blood sugar monitoring, foot care and simple home exercises. This programme provides learning and personal encounters to reinforce to patients/people with diabetes the importance of taking control and living well. This course is open to members of the public with or without Diabetes.

Our Diabetes Nurse Educator (DNE) holds a Diploma in Nursing with experience in providing support and education for people with Diabetes. As a DNE, she guides, counsels, motivate and educate patients on how to best manage their diabetes. Our Dietitian holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics with clinical experience in outpatient & also inpatient settings. She also is experienced in one-to-one counselling, group facilitation in interest groups or small group settings, conducting empowering and health advocating workshops; group talk at workplace health on diet-disease management.Seow Vi Vien (Dietitian)
