This course is open to the public who wish to learn more about this condition, and participants with Chronic Kidney Disease Stages 2 to 3A (mild to intermediate). Topics include the functions of the kidney, the impact of diabetes on the functioning of the kidney, keeping our kidneys healthy and eating right for healthy kidneys.

Lee Ting Yuan (Diabetes Nurse Educator) + Dietitian

Our Diabetes Nurse Educator (DNE) holds a Diploma in Nursing with experience in providing support and education for people with Diabetes. As a DNE, she guides, counsels, motivate and educate patients on how to best manage their diabetes. Our Dietitian holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics with clinical experience in outpatient & also inpatient settings. She also is experienced in one-to-one counselling, group facilitation in interest groups or small group settings, conducting empowering and health advocating workshops; group talk at workplace health on diet-disease management.
