Emily Ong
Emily is the Director and HOD of Eldercare (Active Ageing Centre). She is responsible for the strategic development of all Active Ageing Centres to drive and lead initiatives while ensuring operational efficiency. In her previous capacity as a Volunteer Manager, she oversaw all Volunteer Management, training efforts, and implemented policies within the department to enhance volunteering experiences. She holds a Master’s Degree in Gerontology (SUSS) and is ACTA/ACLP certified for Adult Teaching and Learning.Dan Ng Chong Chee
Dan is the Assistant Director of LBSA, HOD over Counselling, Research, Training & Volunteer Management departments. Dan has over a decade’s experience in the social sector and holds two Master’s Degrees in Social Science and Gerontology. He is a registered Counsellor (RegCLR) and Clinical Supervisor (RegClinSup) with Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC). Dan is also ACLP and ACP/PPC trained. He is passionate about serving the elderly and believes in developing strong therapeutic relationships/alliances with his clients. He was also an ex-EXCO member of SAC and served as its 2nd Vice President, among other responsibilities.Madeline Heng
Madeline is the Lead Curriculum & Training Facilitator. She has many years of experience in Corporate, Education, Technology and Creative industries in strategic business and operation management, marketing, creative innovation, teaching and curriculum development. She studied at the University of Strathclyde (MBA) and is certified in Teaching and Learning, and Prepare and Conduct Coaching, for adult education. She is also actively involved in Grassroot initiatives, Community Mediation and Coaching with People's Association and CPFB community outreach and volunteering groups.Reviews on Course
