The sequel to the hit movie, ‘Journey to the Center of the Earth’, begins when Sean receives a distress signal from a mysterious island. When the message turns out to be from his grandfather – who disappeared many years ago – Sean decides to go in search of the island in a bid to rescue him. His stepfather, Hank, a helicopter pilot, Gabato, and his daughter, Kailani join in the adventure.
En-route, their helicopter gets caught in a hurricane and crashes. When they awaken, the adventurers find themselves on a strange, up-side down island, populated by pint-sized elephants and giant butterflies. There, they faced with much danger and surprises – including the fact that the island is slowly but surely sinking. Will they manage to find Sean’s grandfather? More importantly, will they survive this thrilling adventure?
This visually engaging, over-the-top hit is perfect for some light family entertainment.
