Care Farm @ Ang Mo Kio
Care Farm @ AMK uses a de-coupled aquaponics farming system to grow fish and vegetables in a sustainable manner. Seeking to play a part in Singapore's 30 by 30 food production goal, and to give back to the community, all vegetables and fish harvested are donated to the low-income residents of Ang Mo Kio GRC. As an Otolith Silver Volunteer, you will be trained to care for the veggies and the fish for a bountiful harvest for the beneficiaries. You will also be trained to guide tours for the younger generation to educate them on the importance of food security and sustainabilty.
