Ever thought of writing your own life story? Guided Autobiography (GAB) helps you document your life story, guided by a trained facilitator. Write your life story through the use of thematic focus and priming questions that evoke memories of events. As you write your story, you will share them with fellow participants who will share also share their stories - a process that is affirming and empowering. GAB, a powerful way of building new insights into your life events, has been well studied and proven to have many benefits including increased self-acceptance, decreased anxiety and tension and more.

Normala Mabap
Normala is Director of Age Matters, a consultancy and training agency on ageing and agecare development across policy, practise and research. She has been involved in social development for more than three decades with in-depth experience particularly of the age care industries. She has worked across countries and cultures and at different levels of programme and policy development – from building innovative start-up, managing operations to developing frameworks for age care development at the national level. Normala started Age Matters to address gaps in the agecare sector, she is particularly passionate about providing elders with opportunities that help to maximise their fullest potentials and possibilities.
