This course provides beginners with knowledge and understanding of the basics of fashion design. Participants will be guided on how to conduct research and conceptualise a design theme. Areas of study include research methodologies, seasonal trends and target markets, design development and fashion figure drawing. At the end of this course, learners will be able to produce a simple fashion collection in a 2D format using digital imaging software.

Upon completion of her Bachelor studies in Fashion Design with First Class Honours, Hanna Lai embarked on her career in the fashion industry as a Senior Fashion Designer, Consultant, Arts Educator and Programme Leader for several Fashion programmes. Being a well-rounder rounded academic achiever, Hanna has obtained many awards including the prestigious Peru Embassy Award.
