Accidents can occur at home or the workplace. Prompt first aid treatment can improve the chances of survival and promote recovery of the casualty. This workshop is designed to equip members of the public with basic first aid knowledge and skills required to attend to common injuries and conditions. It is a half-day workshop and is not a certification course. This course is suitable for non-healthcare professionals and the general public.Course Details

Ms Rafika Ramli is a registered nurse with Singapore Nursing Board and has been a nurse educator with the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) for the past decade. Specialising in enrolled nurse education, simulation pedagogy and content creator for online learning modules, she is passionate and advocates the use of digital resources and mobile applications in delivering safe and good patient care to her learners.Angeline Yeo
Ms Angeline Yeo is a State Registered Nurse and a Certified Midwife, with about 56 years’ experience in nursing, including Singapore General Hospital and Alexandra Hospital. She retired as the Head Nurse in Jurong polyclinic in 2011. Angeline continues to find passion in serving the public after her retirement. She is currently a Training Consultant with PCA. She specialises in frailty, health and disease management topics. She is a familiar and respectable mentor in NHGP and in the community. Her greatest source of motivation is developing training programmes for healthcare workers and delivering public talks in the community.Ms Rafika Ramli
