Decoupage is the art of decorating objects with paper cut-outs and paint effects. These cut-outs are glued to the surface and several coats of varnish are applied to give it a lacquered finish. The finished products are so stunning that they are often mistaken to be professionally painted. Through this art, you will stimulate your brain and eyepower and will provide a platform for you to express your creativity. At the end of this workshop, participants will find a new hobby/interest as well as be able to take home their unique handmade art pieces.

Doris Ho is passionate educator and founder of My Art Piece. They believe that everyone has the desire and ability to create art. Seeking to inspire and nurture, they hope to give creative direction to others, and to use art to touch the lives of others. She worked in the Financial Institution sector for over 30 years involved in sales, marketing, administration and operations. Had the privilege of an early retirement and started picking up various hobbies like cooking, baking, quilting and Decoupage. Her interest in Decoupage spurred her and business partner Debbie Ang to set up My Art Piece in 2012 to share their passion with others.Ho Lye Keng Doris

The instructor Doris is very professional and patient, clear in her explanation. I find this new hobby very interesting and now inspire to apply what I learned. There are also 2 assistants (Bonnie & Helen) in the class who are very helpful in teaching us hand-on stuff. Will join her class again if able to get a seat in the future.
