Arabic Level 2 (Conducted Online)
This 10-week course is designed to provide an insight to the targeted language and understanding of its culture. This Level 2 course is designed for participants to expand their basic knowledge of grammar and vocabulary in the assigned lessons and develop strong reading, writing, speaking and listening abilities. They will learn to write short paragraphs, practice reading and understand conversations in formal settings.

Dr Salawdeh Omar
Omar Salawdeh is the Convenor of the Arabic Program. He holds a B.A in English Language and Literature from Kuwait University and an M.A in Linguistics from the State University of Campinas (Brazil). He received his Advanced Studies Diploma and his Ph.D. in Arabic and Islamic Studies from Cadiz University (Spain) in 2005 and 2007 respectively. Prior to joining the Centre for Language Studies at NUS, Omar worked as a Term Assistant Professor of Arabic at George Mason University in the United States from 2008-2012, where he taught courses on Arabic language and culture at all levels.
