This 10-week course is designed to provide insight into the targeted language and an understanding of its culture. This Level 7 course will enable participants to interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity with native speakers, and produce clear, detailed writing on a wide range of subjects. Participants will explain their viewpoints on a topical issue using the framework of advantages and disadvantages.

Trainer's Profile
Indrianti Tjan
Miss. Indrianti is the Convenor of the Bahasa Indonesia Program. She received her bachelor degree in English Education from Sanata Dharma University and her Master of Education in TESOL (Teaching English as a Second Language) from School of Education, Boston University. Prior to joining NUS, she taught English at various universities in Indonesia, including Sanata Dharma University, Atmajaya University and Duta Wacana University. In 2004, she received a Fulbright Grant to teach Bahasa Indonesia as a foreign language at the University of Hawai'i, Manoa.
