This course is for anyone interested to learn the basics of silkscreen printing, also known as serigraph printing. Learners will be taught step-by-step techniques for creating their silkscreen prints, from designing the image and preparing the stencils to make multi-colour prints.

Joseph Chiang
Joseph Chiang is an artist, printmaker and cartoonist. He is the founder of Monster Gallery, a creative print studio, and the Young Printmakers League, a mentorship programme supported by Noise Singapore. He was commissioned by the National Arts Council to organise the Contemporary Printmaking Festival as part of Singapore Art Week 2017. He has exhibited in Singapore and internationally. He was invited to exhibit his works at the 10th World Triennial of Original Prints and Engravings in Chamalières, France, in 2017. His latest work is “Chronicles of a Circuit Breaker”, a graphic novel depicting his life during the Circuit Breaker in Singapore in 2020.Reviews on Course
