In this course, participants will be introduced to the background and history of Mosaic Art and the various artists' works. The various techniques taught include relief, trencadis, and direct mosaic techniques in forming Mosaic coasters and fridge magnets. Participants will be introduced to Elements of Art (Shape/Texture/Colour) and Principals of Design(Balance/Emphasis/Repetition) in helping them to compose, assemble and form their Mosaic Art Projects.
