This course aims to teach facial construction and to understand the features, anatomy and proportion that are required for portrait drawings. You will develop skills in expressing values, shadows and shading through a step-by-step approach to developing the necessary skills to create a portrait.

Janice Chin
Janice Chin is an Art Practitioner specialising in various drawing and painting mediums. Janice was trained in Fine Art (Painting and Drawing) at the University of Huddersfield . She has more than 13 years of art teaching experience with children, teenagers and adults at NAFA and has worked at the Social Service Institute helping children with special need in the arts. She has been invited to exhibit her artworks in Malaysia, South Korea and Spain and awarded the prestigious First Award of the Biennial at the 2013 2nd ASPAS Biennial International Pastel Exhibition in Oviedo, Spain. \n\nReviews on Course
