Understanding the Ageing Process through Experiential Learning

This 3-hour experiential learning aims to equip one with the knowledge of how the ageing process impacts one's physical, emotional and mental well-being. Participants will learn ways to prepare for and cope with the ageing process, and how to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle through their golden years with the help of different sets of equipment for an ageing simulation experience and using ageing principles and processes.

Justina Teo

With 15 years of experience in Eldercare, Justina is professional in the sectors which cover Corporate Communications, Befriending Operations, Volunteer Management, and Research and Development. She is the Director of Befriending department and manages the portfolio of Special Projects and Development which includes strategic collaboration with the various IHLs. She has a Degree in Arts (Communications & New Media) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Social Work, from the National University of Singapore.

She studied with the University of Strathclyde in International Business Administration and was certified in Teaching and Learning in curriculum development.
