This course aims to teach you how to play the Erhu. Playing the Erhu requires a combination of gross and fine motor skills. This will help improve overall health, posture and mental condition, with left and right brain stimulation. Participants are required to bring their own instruments.Course Details

Lee Phui Cheng Justinn
Justinn has been playing in Chinese orchestra for more than 30 years and is currently a freelance musician and educator in Singapore. \n\nA multi-talented musician, she has mastered various Chinese instruments such as Erhu, Ocarina, as well as western instruments such as bass guitar, acoustic guitar and percussion. She first obtained her advanced diploma in the School of Creative Art in 2001, and has gone on to obtain her Erhu grade 8 in NAFA. A passionate musician, she has served as the conductor of Teck Ghee Community Club Chinese Orchestra since 2007.
Chen Ning
Chen Ning is a graduate of the Bachelors’ in Music (Honours) Programme at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts majoring in erhu performance, Chen Ning has had extensive experience playing with a variety of ensembles and orchestra, performing in venues such as the Esplanade, as well as the Singapore Conference Hall.
