This 10-week course is designed to provide insight into the targeted language and an understanding of its culture. This Level 6 course is designed to help participants deepen their knowledge and mastery of the Thai language and culture, and be able to converse confidently on finance matters, current affairs and topics of interest relevant to Thai culture.

Trainer's Profile
Klayklueng Sasiwimol
Ms Klayklueng Sasiwimol is the Convenor for Thai language programme and a senior lecturer at the Centre for Language Studies, NUS. She has been coordinating elementary, intermediate and advanced Thai modules, and teaching Thai to students at various proficiency levels since 1999. Her research interests are in the development of teaching materials, strategy use in foreign language learning, and foreign language teaching methodology. She is also the Co-author of Phuut Thai 2: Basic Conversational Thai, where her book is being used as teaching material in the External Programme. She holds a M.A. degree in English Studies from NUS.
