Staying well can be a challenge for older adults. A longer life, poor health, isolation, and rising cost of living are some issues that can affect the ability to stay well and age successfully. This 8-hour workshop introduces older adults to the 5 dimensions of wellness and the small steps they can take to improve and maintain high physical, mental and social functioning, financial independence and their overall quality of life.

Before retirement, Joycelyn Yeo was Finance Director of a Statutory Body, worked in both Public and Private Sectors, from SMEs to MNCs in Finance and Administrative functions. Last Project was to set up a new Internal Audit Department. Retired since the turn of the Century, and been actively involved in voluntary work to give back to the Community in the following areas: 1) Befriending Services, 2) Para-Counselling, 3) Dementia Screening, 4) trained Facilitator in Advance Care Planning, 5) trained Facilitator in courses and programmes for seniors; 6) Trainer for HAPPY (Healthy Ageing Promotion Programme for You) 7) Silver Generation Ambassador, 8) Health Ambassador with the HPB, 9) Board Member of a SSA (formerly VWO) with IPC Status, 10) Manned hotline at the SOS. Have been with the Tsao Foundation for more than 10 years, commencing as Facilitator in the Citi-Tsao Financial Education programme for matured women, SCOPE, SWING, Diabetes Management, etc.Reviews on Course
