Learn to play Chromatic Harmonica (Level 1)

Participants will learn to play songs on the chromatic harmonica, learn music theory and read standard musical notations. They will learn to appreciate different genres of music, from pop to classical and jazz. By the end of this course, you will be able to differentiate types of harmonica and genres of music, read simple musical notations and play diatonic scales, play musical phrases in the keys of C and Am and be able to perform a complete musical piece / song for the class.

Eddy has performed on the Harmonica in the Esplanade Recital Studio (2017 to 2019), APAC harmonica competition festival in Beijing 2018 (Gold Award), HCA Online Charity Concert (March 2021), Mapletree Arts in the City on air Host (harmonica)(2020), Our Tampines Hub New year online Concert (2021). He was also the host of the OTH Arts online program (Harmonica) in 2020.

Eddy Loi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications (OKCU), a Professional Guitar Certificate (Berklee College of Music); Grade 5 Theory (ABRSM); Certificate in “The Blues, understanding and performing an American Art Form” (University of Rochester).
