A one-day hands-on workshop focuses on Singapore's Peranakan Cookery. Aromatic, tangy, and spicy in a palette. Learn authentic dishes from our in-house Chef who is specialized in Peranakan cuisine using various distinct spices and cooking techniques used by the Malay/Indonesian and Chinese communities. Anyone who wants to pick up basic techniques in Peranakan cookery and expand their cuisine repertoire.

Chef Joe Heng has more than 10 years of experience as an Asian Chef specializing in Peranakan cuisine who has worked under celebrity chef Violet Oon and as a consultant to numerous state events. With his profound knowledge and skills in the culinary scene, he not only has effectively delivered his expertise in teaching but also in food product research and development at Nanyang Polytechnic.
