由于生活环境的改变，十之八九的新加坡人都远离乡村，很难有机会接触到生草药。本地生草药的种植也渐渐的集中在社区花园里。为了让公众能认识本地的草药，此课程将介绍草药的来源，科属，学名与别名, 并讲解生草药的性味特性，功能效用，种植与食疗方法。更重要的是辨别有毒、无毒的植物。
