GROWING GREEN TOGETHER
'Growing Green Together' is a senior volunteering programme that aims to encourage seniors who have acquired valuable gardening skills over their lifetimes to make a difference within the Tampines community. Our senior volunteers will play a vital role in helping to maintain and nurture the community garden. They will also have opportunities to impart their skills and wisdom to individuals who are just starting to embrace gardening in their lives. Being a senior volunteer allows you to continue staying active mentally and physically whilst being engaged with members of the community. A community garden allows people of diverse backgrounds to come together - a chance to exchange knowledge and expertise through guidance and passion. Let's strive to cultivate fulfilling healthier lifestyles and foster meaningful social connections together, which might in turn lead to an overall enhancement in well-being.
