As the first point of contact during a patient’s visit to the clinic, CAs need to have essential knowledge and skills as they play a vital role in advocating patients' preventive health screening, chronic disease management and screening, health promotion and the use of digital health mobile applications in care delivery, all of which are elements of Healthier SG’s initial phase of implementation.
