Welcome to the world of black-and-white analogue photography. From photographing with an SLR camera to making your own prints using darkroom chemistry, participants will be walked through the fundamentals of black and white photography. The course culminates in the photographic darkroom, where students will learn how to operate a photographic enlarger, process 35mm black and white negatives, and develop their own black and white prints using photographic chemistry. Participants will then develop their own photo walk where they will be taught composition techniques and proper exposure using an SLR camera.
