The course will equip participants with a deeper understanding of the decisions involved with regard to making an LPA and to be able to communicate their decision to their loved ones. Through this course, you will learn topics like the Mental Capacity act and what it encompasses, be exposed to the different available options to be made during an LPA, learn how to communicate the role of the donee(s) to the appointed donee(s) and complete their LPA form 1 with little external assistance.

Peter Mao graduated from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) with Master degree in Social Worker (MSW). He is a Registered Social Worker in Singapore and Hong Kong. He is also a trained Advance Care Planning facilitator. He is an experienced bi-lingual speaker on topic such as Lasting Power of Attorney, Advance Care Plan. He is also an experienced workshop facilitator for Life Review and Wonderful Life Workshop. He has obtained certificate in “Introduction to Geragogy Guidelines”.
