We Bought A Zoo
Director: Cameron Crowe
Cast: Matt Damon, Scarlett Johansson
Year of Release: 2012
Running Time: 124 minutes
Featuring a stellar cast that includes Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson, this film brings to life a true story of single dad Benjamin Mee — a Los Angeles journalist who believes that moving to a battered, run-down zoo would be a great fresh start for his family.
With the help of the zoo staff, Benjamin and his two kids begin working on cleaning up the zoo and returning it to its former glory. However, the process was, of course, not without struggles.
Filled with humour and misadventures along the way, this heart-warming offer from acclaimed director Cameron Crowe is not just a worthwhile family movie, but one that all of us can learn some life lessons from.
