This year marks the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the British liner R.M.S Lusitania. The passenger ship was sunk by a German submarine on 7 May 1915, resulting in the loss of 1198 civilian lives. The tragedy has been the subject of numerous conspiracy theories ever since, and it is widely believed that the Lusitania carried in her cargo secret explosives meant for military use.
Uncover the secrets behind this maritime mystery in this National Geographic documentary, led by explorer Dr Robert Ballard, the man who discovered the Titanic.
