Students will be introduced to intellectual property (“IP”) laws in Singapore, and how IP rights may be created, protected and exploited. They will also be taught how to secure IP protection, the legal requirements and the nature of their rights as IP owners. The course will cover the common forms of IP protection, including copyrights, designs, trademarks, patents and confidential information.
