This opulently scored piece will be led by the Music Director of Taiwan's National Symphony Orchestra, Lü Shao-Chia, who has also conducted many of the world’s leading ensembles including the Royal Concertgebouw, Oslo Philharmonic and Hong Kong Philharmonic.
The Symphonia Choralis also returns in Walton’s choral spectacular Belshazzar’s Feast. With a huge choir, massive orchestra and some brass bands at the table, Baritone Peter Sidhom will lead the proceedings that illustrate the biblical story of Babylon’s downfall in this explosively epic masterpiece.
