Photosymphony is a play on the words photosynthesis and symphony. Just like how photosynthesis is the process in hardness the most important source of energy from the sun, ensuring the growth of plants and trees, music plays a similar role in human lives.

“Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything.”

Plato, Greek philosopher and mathematician

In that spirit, SMU Symphonia will present familiar songs, ranging from childhood favourites like Beauty and the Beast to modern tunes of the animated movie Your Name to celebrate music and its significance in our daily lives.

In addition to the concert, come and enjoy scrumptious bites and shop for plants at the Market Square in the Orchid Plaza as part of your weekend outing from 6 to 7 July 2019!

Concert subject to prevailing weather conditions.

Concert-goers are advised to take public transport.

This concert is in conjunction with SBG160.
