Yishun Health is committed to improve the health of the 700,000 residents living in the north of Singapore. We have moved beyond our traditional role of a healthcare provider to invest in upstream preventive care within the community, build a culture of self-help and resilience, and develop an ecosystem that supports and enables residents to manage their own health.
Building on these efforts, we are partnering with SportSG Masters Club to organise an inaugural ‘GOLDlympics’ event, a community sports day that celebrates active living for seniors aged 50 and above with their families. This event aims to promote the spirit of staying active regardless of one’s functional abilities. We want to empower our seniors to take charge of their health and keep them socially engaged by creating opportunities to build bonds across communities. It is also a fun occasion for families to bond and show support for their senior members.
