Nature, where everything grows and matures, originates from the Tao of Heaven and Earth, while music is the bridge that nurtures inner communication between humanity and the world, building harmony between people and nature – Martin Feng.
Renowned ruan master Martin Feng, together with his musicians, will present new arrangements of traditional Chinese tunes in a variety of music styles, including classical, pop, rock and jazz, as well as his original compositions infused with improvisation and Chinese philosophy.
Possessing a flawless performance technique, a unique artistic personality, and a faithful belief in zen and qi. Feng grew up being tutored by his father, the legendary yueqinmusician Feng Shaoxian. Feng has since captivated audiences in China and around the world with his virtuosity and eclectic repertoire, in a relentless quest to redefine the boundaries of Chinese and Western musical instruments.
