Scientific evidence suggests that moving toward plant-based diets can bring significant health benefits, including reducing the risk of diabetes, heart disease, obesity and certain cancers. Plant-based diets consist of foods from plants, such as whole grains, nuts, seeds, beans, vegetables and fruits. Plant-based foods are readily available at restaurants, food stalls and markets. In addition, many recipes are available at libraries and online to teach us how to make our own plant-based dishes. Learn more at this talk, which includes time for your questions.
