The Kelabit people are one of the indigenous Dayak peoples of the Sarawak highlands of Borneo in Malaysia. One of the smallest ethnic groups in Sarawak, the Kelabit have a rich history of music and dance, enhanced by their ethnic costume and beads. Be immersed in the ruma’ kadang (Kelabit for “longhouse”) celebrations, where they perform the dance of the hornbills (ngarang), the dance of the hornbills, the dance of the warriors, the harvest dance and others. These dances will be accompanied by Kelabit songs and chants, and the enchanting sound of the sape, the traditional lute of the Central Borneo communities.

About Mupun Tauh Troupe
