  • 6.00pm to 6.30pm: Free Mass Zumba Session (no registration required)
  • 7.30pm to 10.00pm: Movie Screening of “Mary Poppins”
     

Free popcorn and candy floss will be available from 7pm to 10pm, while stocks last.


Let’s start the evening with 30 minutes of fun high-energy Zumba workout with our families and friends at Eco-Lake Lawn from 6pm to 6.30pm. Feel the music, dance and have fun! Then we’ll cool down and indulge ourselves with an evening of rest & relaxation under the stars. Pack along your picnic mats and baskets, unwind, and enjoy the magical Mary Poppins.

Synopsis:

 

One of the most famous musical-fantasy films of all time, “Mary Poppins” tells the story of how Mary Poppins, a nanny - played by Julie Andrews, visits the dysfunctional Banks family in London, and takes the children on a series of fantastical adventures to improve the family’s dynamic.

 

Awards:

 

This movie won the 1965 Academy Awards for Best Actress in a Leading Role (Julie Andrews), Best Film Editing (Cotton Warburton), Best Effects - Special Visual Effects (Peter Ellenshaw, Hamilton Luske, Eustace Lycett), Best Music - Original Song and Substantially Original Score (Richard M. Sherman, Robert B. Sherman).


This event is organized by the National Cancer Centre Singapore in conjunction with the Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
