WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND
Hope is an intangible energy that is firmly based in life and expressed in human interaction. This seminar aims to explore how we can facilitate hope in the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual quadrants.
Hope has a very strong healing power in dealing with illness, grief, loss and trauma experiences as life and suffering are inextricably linked. Despair is defined as suffering without meaning and it sits closely together with hope. Sitting with our patients or clients and giving them permission to experience and share their hopelessness and despair is often challenging. Being able to stay present and connected with them in their suffering can be very healing. The power of hope brings meaning back into life, despite of the suffering and it gives the energy to go on to take the next step.
During this seminar, you will discover and learn:
• The constructs and frameworks of hope
• How to facilitate hopelessness and despair
• How to facilitate the healing power of hope
• How to strengthen resilience
